The problem
A water bill had doubled in two months, and one corner of a hallway floor felt warm underfoot.
What we found
Pressure testing isolated the leak to the hot water line under the slab. Acoustic tracing placed it under the hallway, right where a repair would have meant removing hardwood flooring.
The fix
Instead of breaking the slab, we offered a reroute through the attic and walls. It cost slightly more than a spot repair, but saved the floor and took the old line out of use for good.
